Well-known notes app GoodNotes will “move” to the Mac
At the WWDC 19 event this year, Apple officially launched macOS Catalina. In addition to, the desktop space extension tool Sidecar, the addition of screen usage time, and the redesign of multiple system-level applications, and the new system benefits, macOS Catalina further built a bridge between iOS apps and Mac apps thanks to Project Catalyst.
Starting with macOS Catalina and Xcode 11, developers can easily port iOS apps to the Mac, and it will be possible to develop iPad apps for Mac via UIKit.
Recently, the developers of the well-known notes app GoodNotes announced that they have begun to port GoodNotes 5 to the Mac. In the future, the experiences of iOS, iPadOS and macOS will be unified.
“We recognize that Mac and MacOS are different from iPhone/iPad and iOS. However, we are still very happy to have the opportunity to unify the experiences of various devices. We believe that these will benefit everyone. If you are familiar with GoodNotes on one device, you can seamlessly switch to another without having to relearn.”
