Apple released the second beta of macOS Mojave 10.14.1
This update may include performance improvement and problems fixes since the release of Mojave upgrade.
After the first beta for developers of macOS Mojave 10.14.1 was released last week, Apple rolled out the second beta of macOS Mojave 10.14.1 a few days ago.
macOS Mojave introduce a new method to install software update that after installing the initial beta through description file in Developer Center, users can open System Preferences and select “Software Update” to download other betas.
Apple introduced the support for FaceTime group chat in macOS Mojave 10.14.1. This feature was deleted during the macOS Mojave beta, which allowed users to chat with 32 persons at the same time. What is worth mentioning is that it also appears in iOS 12.1 beta.
We haven’t found any other important features in the first developer beta of macOS Mojave. The update may include performance improvement and problems fixes since the release of Mojave upgrade. If we discover any new feature in macOS Mojave 10.14.1, we will share it here right away.
The main feature of macOS Mojave is the Dark Mode of the whole system, which provides a new look for users to watch at. With the improved Mac App Store, users will discover excellent apps more easily than before. And the improved window has photo gallery view, sidebar, quick search and quick operation, making operation and editing simpler. And desktop stack can quickly sort out all files on the desktop.
I suggest backing up Time Machine before installing macOS Mojave, and better not update on your main device, since the beta version is relatively unstable that some issues might occur.
