Nintendo has confirmed that the company will stop using their Nintendo TVii for Wii U next month.

The Japanese company leaked this news in a Miiverse message that the service which is associated with Miiverse community will be closed as well on August 11.

The Nintendo company announced that:” hey will be shutting down the service on August 11, 2015 at 3 pm after three years attempt for the launching and promotion of Nintendo TVii.”

It added:”the company is graded for all the users’ engagement for this service in all means. They hope the customers would continue to support their other products within Miiverse communities.”

Nintendo wrote on their support website as stated:” hey are happy for all of the users’ support and they are happy to bring the users happiness with Nintendo TVii service.”

The users can still watch their favorite shows and movies via multiple video on Demand applications on the Wii console even though the Nintendo TVii will be shut down.

Nintendo TVii is a free Wii U television-based service. It allows the customers to have access to watch shows on platforms like Hulu Plus, Amazon Instant Video and Netflix.

This service has never been introduced to Europe. There are localising multiple television services offered across the European countries with varied licensing systems made its service hard to be introduced there.
