Android Bug needs biggest ever modification
It is reported that Samsung, LG and Google is taking measures to update the security of Android devices as there was discovery of a bug in which led to a billion devices have been infected.
Those three company are going to launch the so-called biggest security modified version that has been ever made to the mobile users fix the Stagefright Vulnerability.
Android engineer Adrian Ludwing stated in an interview of BBC news that his assumption of this security update would be the single largest software that the world has ever been made.
The intention of making this update was the Security firm Zimpherium had recovered the hackers could potentially gain control over a a smartphone by using a loophole with a picece of malicious code. If they do so, the malware or virus could be buried within a multimedia message so that it could hack in others’ devices.
Samsung, LG and Google have promised to release monthly security updates to protect the data safety from the hackers before they take actions.
The third -party manufacturers slow down their pace to arrange a fix for Stagefright because of the open nature of the platform, while the Nexus devices are being well protected.
The Android users can download the Stagefright Detector App from Google Play to check whether their devices are protected against the vulnerability or not.
