Sky launched updated Now TV box to welcome the football season

Sky had announced it could launched an updated Now TV BOX on August 6 aims at welcoming the new football season.

The new Now Box is coming with in all-black, rounded designed. It is said that it could arrive on the market soon and sold at £14.99. The customers will be able to buy this updated Now TV Box at Argos Stores from August 7. It will be available at some other retailers in the following weeks.

Sky showed that the updated version of Now TV box runs about 5 times faster than its previous version. This improvement attributes to an upgraded processor, and it features an improved user interface which is similar to the Now TV desktop portal.

The device combines with an Ethernet port, so the users can connect it to the internet cable as well as the WiFi. However, its streaming resolution is still at 720p.

Now TV offers users to enjoy the free Sky’s sports, movies and entertainment content via various passes on offer for daily and weekly viewing.

The Sky launched a service of Sky Sport Monthly Pass last month. The users of this service just need to pay £31.99 to watch four week’s worth of the broadcast’s sports from it.
