iOS 11 beta 3 released, have you tested it yet?
After releasing iOS 11, macOS High Sierra, and tvOS 11 beta 4, Apple, a few days ago, has rolled out the third public beta of the above three systems. The second public beta, which was released two weeks ago, can be downloaded and tested by non-developers.
If the public beta of iOS 11 and macOS High Sierra have been installed on your devices, through OTA and Mac App Store you can update them to the latest public beta version.
Apple has upgraded the control center in iOS, supporting customization. Meanwhile, features of Siri, photo and camera app have been upgraded too.
iOS also supports ARKit, for developers to releasing the AR app. iOS of iPad has many improvements – brand new Dock, better multitask, file app, and Apple Pencil support, brand new switcher, and system-level drag and drop, etc.
macOS High Sierra focuses on its new core storage, video, and image technologies, including APFS, HEVC support and the updated Metal.
Besides, new features have also been added to some apps, such as photo apps and Safari. Users can disable video autoplay on Safari in macOS High Sierra. In the meantime, more music control functions have been added to Siri.
Since this year, Apple started rolling out tvOS 11 public beta, bringing home screen sync, shade auto switch, and AirPods support.
Users who participate in public beta test or intent to shall install the beta on a backup device in case of the loss of any data.
