According to the news on 18 December, Republic Bank now allows their clients to use Apple Pay to conduct payment transaction with their Republic Bank consumer credits and cards. Except for the traditional ways to pay for the bill and credits, as well as debit cards, Apple Pay becomes a new available mode of payment. But all the rewards and benefits offered by their Republic Bank MasterCard credit and debit cards including Zero Liability Protection for the clients will be received as the same as before.
Clients can use Apple Pay via their iPhone6, iPhone 6Plus and some other Apple devices like Apple Watch, and the Apple Pay is also compatible with iPhone6, iPhone 6Plus, iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3 when it is adopted to pay for goods and services within Apps. “My pay, my way” has been realized with the access to Apple Pay, and clients will enjoy an easy and secure payment as Michael Sadofsky, the senior vice president of Marketing, Republic Bank said, “We are excited to offer Apple Pay as an easy, secure payment solution that allows our clients to bank when, where and how they want.”
With the available Apple Pay, clients now can choose the payment solution and conduct the new available Apple Pay as long as they get an iPhone 6 or iPhone 6Plus or other Apple devices. Further more, it is said that Apple Pay launch in China in the early next year. Once it launches, Apple users in China will be able to pay with their Apple devices.
Launching Apple Pay is still in the air until the companies get approval from Chinese regulators, but Apple anticipates that Union Pay cardholders will be able to add the debit and credit cards to Apple Pay and wait for the service in early 2016. It id common in China to use wireless and electronic payments, so if Apple Pay launches there, it may enjoy a promising market.
