Keep your iPhone screen safe from falling

Do you afraid that the screen of your new iPhone will be broken with one drop from your table?
Do you also feel hurt when you watch your iPhone dropping from a high place and eventually leave you a cracked one? The answer may be “Yes” for many people. Yet maybe you won’t need to worry about that in the near future because the Apple Computer Inc has developed a group of new protection fitting, which includes four special protectors for iPhone to prevent the screen from falling.

As it has been reported by news,the Apple Computer Inc has submitted an application document for patent named Active Screen Protection aiming to provide iPhone’ s screen a Patron Saint when it drops, which is announced by USPTO on 26th October,2015.

Details about the new patent for iPhone

According to the document, this Active Screen Protection patent will insert four thin and bent protectors in the four corners of iPhone screen respectively to reduce the punch when it falls,thus in the future, iPhone’ s screen won’t be cracked when falling.

Made of some elastic material like colloidal material or metal, the special protectors will pop up automatically when the built-in accelerometer,the altimetric sensor and other accessory detected that the device is falling. The protector can assimilate and reduce the shock from the floor thus forms a protection for iPhone screen. When the danger has gone, the protector will hide itself in the phone automatically.

Same as other patents applied by the Apple company, this patent is not too complicated to achieve by its hardware as well as its software system. However, it is quite difficult to add this new function on an iPhone while causing no troubles for users. Thus when to apply this new patent onto iPhone is still unknown now.
