RBS becomes Facebook’s Enterprise user
Facebook, the world social networking giant announced on Sunday that Royal Bank of Scotland will become the user of Facebook At Work. Facebook At Work will offer Enterprises cooperation and communication tools, reported on October 25.
By using Facebook At Work, the employees of Royal Bank of Scotland can create communicated groups on the basis of Android and iOS devices. They will be able to send photos, notices and private messages among co-workers.
In recent years, many of the enterprises did not allow employees use social networking apps, such as Facebook, to communicate during business hours. Facebook attempts to show the public that social network app could be useful enterprise tool by launching Facebook At Work.
Facebook At Work was rolled out in this January. It obtains 300 enterprise users at present. Facebook assumes there will be more enterprises join the Facebook At Work.
Among the social networking services, Facebook At Work meets from its rivals such as Microsoft’s Yammer, Salesforce’s Chatter, SAP’S JAM, IBM’s Connections, LinkedIn, Convo, and Slack.
Facebook claims that Royal Bank of Scotland is the first bank to apply Facebook At Work. In addition to this, RBS is also the one that has the largest number of employees to use Facebook At Work. Its employees will be able to communicate with their co-workers concerns working issues with convenience.
