Rovio defends Angry Birds 2 in-app purchases
Many of the fans are excited about the in-app purchases in Angry Birds 2, and the developer Rovio made improvements to the defense of its latest business model.
It is creative director Patrick Liu has made efforts to justify the inclusion of the transactions as he pointed out that the in-app purchases are entirely optional.
He stated that when he was interviewed by BBC news that they have done a lot of efforts to make the purchase feel fair with Angry Birds 2. They want to give the customers the feeling that it is justified in spending money on it and get their value from what they spend.
He added that there is no need to cheat and exploit the fans by doing so. They feel it is fair transactions as the customers can access to the whole game without spending anything. The customers can have access to all content of the game.
It is convenient for the players to do in-app purchases as they could turn to in-app purchases to top up their in-game currency. And they don’t have to wait for a long time for lives to replenish.
Thee customers can now get free download package on iOS and Android devices since July 29. There were more than 1 million times downloaded of the Angry Birds 2 in its first 12 hours since it has been released.
