Sky is going to launch 4K set-top box and Netflix-inspired SkyQ service soon

With the data of its ongoing 4K tests in the past, there are latest reports suggested that the UHD-compatible box will introduce a Netfilx and Apple inspired user experience that dubbed SkyQ at the end of this summer.
Report from The Telegraph that the new set-top box will support 4K broadcasting as well as learn users’ preferences so that to make the program recommendations based on their past viewing.
This new box will slow down the lines between live broadcasting, recorded, and on-demand content that searching the programs into a smarter system.
Taking “informed industry source who has seen SkyQ in action” for example, the report states that the new service will be more intelligent, more visual in comparison to the current content system.
The new set-top box also offers a smarter UI and 4K feeds that allowing users to watch and record max for programme streams across multiple devices at the same time. While the current system just allow users to record two programme streams.
